Are you feeling uncertain, nervous, or hopeful, about starting therapy? That’s completely normal. Whether you're seeking help for something specific or just exploring how you're feeling, your first session is an important step toward healing and self-discovery.

What Happens in a First Therapy Session?
The first session is about creating a foundation of trust—not diving into everything all at once. It’s a chance for us to get to know each other, talk about what brings you in, and set some initial goals. You can ask questions, share as much or as little as you’re comfortable with, and go at your own pace.
Building a Safe and Supportive Space
One of the most important parts of therapy is feeling emotionally safe. In our work together, we’ll create a space where you can be open and honest without fear of judgment. This is your space—where your emotions, experiences, and story matter.
You Are the Expert on You

As a therapist, I bring knowledge and tools—but I never assume to know more about your life than you do. You are the expert on your experience. My role is to support you in understanding yourself more deeply and helping you explore new perspectives, patterns, and possibilities for growth.
A Path to Self-Understanding
Therapy isn’t about fixing you—it’s about getting to know yourself in a deeper, more compassionate way. It’s a space to explore what you feel, why you feel it, and how to move forward with clarity and intention.
Taking that first step into therapy can feel intimidating, but it’s also powerful. And you're not doing it alone.
