If you're in your 20s or 30s, chances are you're juggling a lot—maybe you're figuring out grad school, navigating a new neighborhood, switching careers, or just trying to understand who you are in the midst of it all. At Growing Sideways Therapy, I specialize in helping young adults move through these transitional phases with intention, curiosity, and self-compassion. I believe that growth is inward, outward, and beautifully nonlinear.
I take a collaborative and relational approach to therapy—meaning I don’t just talk at you; I work with you. My goal is to create a supportive space where you feel truly seen and safe enough to explore what’s coming up for you. Whether you're questioning what’s next or feeling stuck in what is, Growing Sideways Therapy here to help you sort through it.
I bring together a range of evidence-based and body-based approaches to meet you where you are:
ACT (Acceptance & Commitment Therapy)
DBT & RO-DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Radically Open DBT)
UP (Unified Protocol)
Mindfulness and breathwork
Somatic practices that connect mind and body
I bring a variety of therapeutic approaches and perspectives into our sessions—think of them as tools in a well-loved toolkit—but you’re the expert in your own story. That’s why I say therapy is something we co-create. You might arrive with a clear idea of what you’re looking for, or you might feel like you’re wandering into the unknown without a map—and both are perfectly okay. Either way, the key to understanding yourself is already in your pocket. Together, we’ll explore, unpack, and perhaps even stumble upon what truly feels right for you—gently, curiously, and at your pace.
