When therapy is virtual, space can still matter. Even though we meet through a screen, the environment around you can shape how you feel and how you show up. Whether you’re sitting at your desk, on your couch, or nestled in bed, take a moment to notice your surroundings. Feel the support of the furniture beneath you, notice what’s on the walls, and allow yourself to settle.
Having something to drink nearby—a cup of tea, coffee, or water—can help you stay present and engage your senses when you need grounding. Together, we’ll create a space for therapy that exists within your home—a space that supports you, helps you feel comfortable, and allows you to show up fully, just as you are.
